The IPP Office sought to procure energy into the National Grid by utilizing Co-Generation plants operated in conjunction with host industrial plants from Independent Power Producers. Co-Generation plants are those generation units attached to existing industry and make use of by products or waste products to generate electrical energy. Contracted to provide programme/project management services to the IPP Office, tasks undertaken include:
• Management of the deliverables and sub tasks against an approved scope, project plan and budget.
• Managing a diverse multidisciplinary team of professional transaction advisors to produce a programme that meets the IPP office’s stated needs at the appropriate quality level, while considering diverse complex technical, market and industry factors that require high levels of diligence and an ability to react quickly to varied problems encountered.
